Diversity Coordinating Council

Established April 2007

Our Mission

The Diversity Coordinating Council is composed of MCC faculty, staff, and students whose purpose is to foster an environment that recognizes and values differences. The Council's role is to honor human diversity by promoting an inclusive environment that inspires us to be appreciative and aware of others. Our shared perspectives and collaborative engagement will guide the Council's efforts to support the kinds of enriching encounters which will enhance our growth and understanding of diversity.

DCC Annual Theme Project - What are you?

Each of us individually contributes to our Middlesex community. The strength of our College's success is rooted in the richness of our unique identities. If you were asked the question, "What are you?" How would you respond? How do you think others would interpret and respond to your answer? This year, we are asking you to consider the question, "What are you?" to begin the exploration process of what makes our community strong and how each of us can work toward a more inclusive environment in which we develop a better understanding of our humanity.
