Meet MCC's Student Greeters

MCC's Student Greeters are here to welcome you to campus and help you find what you're looking for. Whether you are heading to the library, picking up items from the bookstore, or meeting someone from student services, our greeters will put you in the right direction and get you where you need to go.



SamSam Holmes is a Computer Science major expecting to graduate in January 2022. From Billerica, he came to MCC because it’s affordable and close to home. Having the ability to start here and transfer made MCC the best option for him. Sam wants to transfer to UMass Lowell after he graduates and work as a Computer Systems Engineer in the future.





An Accounting major, Sebastian Alvarez-Martine hopes to graduate in Fall 2021. He is from Mexico City and now lives in Lexington. MCC was the best choice for him because of the flexibility of course options. In the future, Sebastian wants to get a job in finance while also pursuing other entrepreneurial ventures. 




PeytonFrom Southern Illinois, Peyton Gaynor came to MCC because of the excitement and vibe of Lowell. He's a Liberal Arts major hoping to graduate in Spring 2021. While he's still determining what to do next, he wants to transfer to a four-year college after graduating from MCC. 




IvanaIvana Wisky is a Liberal Arts major graduating in Fall 2020. She's from Tewksbury and came to MCC because of its flexibility, availability of transfer options, and the friendliness of faculty and staff. Following the MassTransfer A2B map, she hopes to become an Environmental Science major at a college in Worcester.






Mayra Berrios' parents are Puerto Rican, she was born in Methuen and now lives in Lowell. She wants to help people as much as she can and is working towards a degree in Health Administration, expecting to graduate in 2022. She is a notary public, advocate and writer.



HannahAt MCC, Hannah Deneve is graduating with an associate in science in Fall 2020. She plans to transfer to UMass Lowell to major in Nursing and minor in Literature. She has worked as a Supplemental Instructor and Orientation Leader among other positions at MCC and came because of the college's affordability and location.




FranciAn international student from Albania, Franci Hatellari came to MCC because it was recommended to him. MCC offers him a great community and professors at an affordable price. He is a biology major who will graduate in 2021. He plans to transfer to finish his bachelor's and continue his education to one day become a physician.
