Middlesex Community College Celebrity Forum 2011 Robin Roberts co-anchor of ABC's Good Morning America Past Celebrity Forum Speakers Include: an evening with Ken Burns Jay Leno n celebration of Middlesex Community College’s 40th anniversary, the 2011 MCC Celebrity Forum will feature Robin Roberts, co-anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America, at 8 p.m. Friday, June 10, in the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. An Emmy Award-winning broadcaster and best-selling author, Roberts has worked in communications for more than 20 years. Before joining ABC, the former college basketball star was anchor of ESPN’s Sports Day and NFL Prime Time, as well as host of Wide World of Sports. Her first book, From the Heart: 7 Rules to Live By, (2007) was a New York Times best seller. Roberts also wrote a popular sequel, 8 Rules to Live By, that included insight into her very public battle with breast cancer. The Middlesex Community College Celebrity Forum is an annual event that brings well-known personalities to the area to enrich educational and cultural opportunities for I residents.
