What is the Pathways Program for Online Business?
The Pathways Program for Online Business is an opportunity for graduates of the Middlesex Community College Business Transfer Associate Degree program. The Associate Degree counts as the first half of Westfield State College's bachelor’s degree program in Business Management. Students then complete the second half of the degree online. Students may also complete the Business Management degree program as traditional classroom students, or by combining traditional classrooms with online course offerings.

If I complete the program, what degree will I earn?
The online format is available for the Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with a Concentration in Management. Future plans include adding the Marketing, Finance, and Accounting Concentrations as online options.

What is the admission process?

Students applying for traditional classroom attendance and/or on-campus housing at WSC: Applicants should go to: http://www.westfield.ma.edu/prospective-students/undergraduate-admissions

Please note: Traditional classroom attendance requires a minimum of 12 credit hours completed per term. Students will have limited or restricted access to online courses, and will apply using the major code, BUSM.

What is the application deadline?
Applicants to the Pathways Program for Online Business: Priority consideration filing dates are October 15 for January enrollment and March 1 for September enrollment.  Students who are eligible for admission and complete their application files by the priority filing dates will be guaranteed admission for the requested semester.  Application files completed after these dates will be accommodated on a space-available basis. Students applying to this program are not eligible for on-campus housing.

What courses do I need to take at Middlesex?
Students should complete an associate’s degree curriculum designated specifically for MassTransfer program with a 2.30 cumulative GPA before transferring to WSC.

What is the application fee?
The application fee is waived for Middlesex Community College Business Transfer Program graduates applying to the Pathways Program for Online Business.

What is the cost per credit of the Pathways Program for Online Business?
