Call for Readers!

If youre interested in doing a reading of either your own work or a previously published poem or short piece of fiction by another author, please contact Tom Laughlin (see below), who is maintaining a list of readers.

Faculty and staff members:  We look forward to your contributions.  We would also like to get as many students involved as possible.  Although this is a fairly informal reading and celebration, if you have any students who want to read a poem, we ask that you oversee their choice of poem and their readiness to read, perhaps by practicing with them.

Students, Alumni, MCC Community membersWe look forward to your contributions.  Although this is a fairly informal reading and celebration, we want students, alumni, and other readers to meet at least briefly with an MCC faculty member or Prof. Tom Laughlin (perhaps during the Creative Writing Hour).  This faculty member can discuss guidelines for time length, offer advice regarding your selection(s), and provide an opportunity for you to rehearse your reading.

The list of readers and poems can be viewed here  (http://www.middlesex.mass.edu/wac/Poetryrdg42005list.htm)
