In this course, the students will learn the Russian alphabet by practicing reading and writing. They will develop comprehension skill as well as build vocabulary of their own, including most frequent idiomatic expressions. Th emphasis of th course is on communication and pronunciation skills. Real-life dialogues will be practiced in one-on-one sessions with te instructor.

Spring 2009 Schedule

This course aims at enabling students, who have completed Beginning Russian I, to communicate in a more confident way by expanding and reinforcing the fours skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Grammar and vocabulary are presented in a clear and natural contexts. Cultural topics are included  in language practice through oral and written activities which familiarize students with the Russian world.
