Course Title/Description

Extensive oral work helps to develop the student’s comprehension and speaking skills to the level of automatic response. Simple reading and writing are introduced to reinforce these hearing and speaking skills. Minimum one hour in language lab or equivalent required.
Note: For students with no or little French.
Intensive Value: This course satisfies the Multicultural or Global Awareness Intensive Value.

LAN 112- Beginning French II

 

This course continues the work of Beginning French I with continued emphasis on developing the student's communicative ability in French. Minimum one hour in language lab or equivalent required.
Intensive Value: This course satisfies the Multicultural or Global Awareness Intensive Value.
Prerequisite:LAN 111or one year of high school French.

LAN 211- Intermediate French

 

This course continues the work of Beginning French II. Emphasis is placed on increasing vocabulary, composition and conversational skills.
