About the College and AdmissionNo previous background in science is required to enroll in the Biotechnology program, and there are no entrance exams for admission to Middlesex Community College. Cost of attending is considerably less than comparable programs offered at private institutions. The Biotechnology Technician program is appropriate for high school graduates starting their college training, as well as adults who are starting or returning to college. All credits earned in the certificate program can be applied to the Associate in Science degree. Class sizes at Middlesex are small, allowing for individual attention to every student's progress. Many of the Biotechnology program's faculty are industry professionals. The program also benefits from a strong advisory board, made up of professionals and executives in the field, who keep us updated on workplace needs and developments. |
