What We Do

Assist and encourage aspiring teachers who want to begin or continue their career preparation at Middlesex Community College.

Provide Academic advising and counseling to structure an academic pathway to teacher licensure.

Specialize in providing current, accurate resources and information on state licensure regulations, routes to licensure, and teacher tests information and resources to enrolled education students.

Identify and develop opportunities for students to apply academic learning in a school setting with support of college faculty and K-12 teachers.

Promote teaching as a valuable and rewarding career. The Center, which maintains offices in Bedford and Lowell with a collection of up-to-date resources, provides individualized services via telephone, e-mail, and appointments.
