Explorations from a
Community of Practice: The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
at Middlesex
Community College (Fall 2006)
Publication of a third collection of
papers that presents works of scholarship by five members of MCC's Carnegie
Group. This represents our ongoing process to develop a more systematic
analysis of our teaching, in order to foster a deeper understanding of student
learning.
Faculty Reflections:
The interdisciplinary nature
of Middlesex's CASTL group has raised our consciousness about how
disciplines approach ideas differently, and over time the awareness has
increased our respect for these diverse ways of approaching, knowing,
and seeing the learning process.
