Bookkeeping for Small Business Are you planning to own or manage a small business? Do you need to know what bookkeeping is all about for your job or for your personal finances? In eight weeks you will learn what bookkeeping is all about; explore some of the history and learn to understand the mystery behind "debits" and "credits". We will learn how computers have made it easier and faster to record and summarize countless business transactions. We will virtually record a variety of sample transactions and review the records created by a computer. We will perform an internal audit to confirm that the numbers have been applied to the proper accounts and that the balances of those accounts represent "fair and reasonable" values. Learn how to reconcile a bank statement; control customer accounts; assign inventory values, calculate depreciation; and more. We will review the resulting Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statement in an attempt to predict future results, and prepare an estimated business projection. An additional materials fee of $30 will be collected by the instructor at the first class. (24 hours) $349 9/13 – 11/1 1pm-4pm S B AR-107 CAR 797 30 14049 CZERLONKA
