Self Defense for Women The B.R.A.V.E. Program is a self-defense program designed to empower women with the tools needed to regain control in the event of an assault. The program isn’t a martial arts class with complicated techniques and movements. It is practical and tested to ensure that all participants acquire the tools they will need to avoid or prevent a sexual assault or violent attack. Ballroom Dancing for Beginners Gather your friends and join us for this energetic class. Instructors will immediately make all beginners comfortable with contemporary and classic ballroom dances. Intermediate Ballroom Dancing This course is a continuation of Beginning Ballroom Dancing. You will learn more steps in the Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing and Rhumba. You will also experiment with the Merengue and other dances. You should have a basic knowledge of each dance in order to attend this class. Bootcamp Do you want to get in shape, but lack the motivation? Are you already in shape, and want to improve?This 12-session outdoor Bootcamp program provides an intense, physically challenging, transformative experience, designed to push participants to their limits. Not for everyone, this program includes a wide variety of physical activities, designed to condition your entire body. Instructed by a certified personal trainer, this course will make you work hard for your results. Bootcamp runs Tuesdays/Thursdays from 3:30-4:30, beginning on September 16th. Sessions are held on the Bedford Campus of Middlesex Community College. Price is $50, and includes 12 one-hour sessions. All equipment and supplies are provided – just bring your good attitude and enthusiasm.
