The Graphic Design Program emphasizes the development of effective communication skills through the combination of words and images. You will be building a portfolio of professional-level projects that will prepare you to enter the graphic design workplace and/or transfer to a four-year college. Art and design assignments require extensive time beyond the classroom in MCC’s art studios and computer labs, which are staffed by knowledgeable and helpful assistants. A three-credit internship in the field is included in the curriculum and will give you the opportunity to work in a professional setting.
