Day of Service Description for Syllabi

There will be no day classes scheduled on Friday, October 17, 2008.  Instead, students, faculty and staff will be participating in the first annual MCC Day of Service. All students are encouraged to participate and students taking classes scheduled on Fridays are expected to participate. Faculty members with classes scheduled on Fridays will individually determine attendance and extra credit projects associated with Day of Service activities. The day will begin with registration at 8am and end at approximately 2pm. Participants will be given a registration form and overview during classes in September. Thank you for your participation in this college wide event.

-     Encourage your students to participate in this first MCC Day of Service. This is a one time service opportunity that involves the entire MCC community. On this day, students, faculty and staff will be working side by side while giving back to the community.
