Middlesex Community College’s commitment to academic excellence places a significant emphasis on effectiveness, applied scholarship, and instructional innovation. The Office of Professional and Instructional Development provides extensive resources and opportunities for faculty and staff from throughout the college to develop expertise and to explore and assess effective teaching techniques, new technologies, and strategies that promote student learning and success both in the classroom and beyond. An advisory group, representing a variety of college constituencies and professional development initiatives, works with the staff to identify and assess programs and services.
