Position:
Part-time secretary - Student Activities Office - Lowell Campus
Responsibilities:
Experienced secretary to provide supportive services for a very active Student Activities Office at the
Lowell Campus.
Duties will include:
Serve as secretary to the Coordinator of Student Activities at the Lowell Campus.
Provide assistance to students, college employees, and visitors.
Schedule appointments for office staff and space for vendors.
Maintain office files and records, answer telephones, create and post notices.
Responsible for internal and external correspondences.
Assist in the ordering of office supplies and equipment.
Operate computer, Guard Card ID system, poster printer and copier. Assist in preparation and implementation of student events and related programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong clerical skills.
Familiarity with various computer software; Banner, Access, desk top publishing, Microsoft Office.
Ability to work with a diverse population.
Must enjoy working with students.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proficiency in oral and written expression and computer usage.
An appreciation for the mission of Middlesex Community College.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Salary:
$10.00 per hour - 25 hours per week for 40 weeks (August -June) Without benefits.
