Topics include: introduction to the microbial world; environmental microbiology; aseptic processing; isolation, nutrition, detection and control of microbes; relevance of microbiology to the company’s products; environmental monitoring (using TSA, TSB and SDA) and sterilization of membranes.   Qualified candidates should have a background in the topical areas and some industry and teaching experience. Familiarity with Millipore products would be helpful.
