A rewarding career in teaching begins with the programs of study listed below, which are designed to prepare a student to transfer into a bachelor's program leading to teacher licensure.  It is recommended that the electives within the degree programs, especially Liberal Arts and Sciences, be selected with the guidance of academic planning advisor.  Students work with the academic planning advisor to create an individualized program in anticipation of choosing a major at the transfer institution.  Transfer articulation agreements are in place between Middlesex Community College and several local four year schools.

Service Learning and Student Teaching placements in area grade schools provide practical experiences for future teachers and support and enhance the teacher preparation curriculum.
